Fluffy the Cat

Hi everyone!

I'm not at home at the moment so I don't have my laptop with me (I had planned to do a more interesting blog this time) but I promised myself I would keep updating as regularly as I could. Especially since I'm so new at this.

Anyways, as you may have been wondering, what's with the title? Who's Fluffy the Cat? Well.. Allow me to show you.

This lovely fellow is my baby. Let me give you a little history...

I was five years old at the time, my family already owned a cat, and she was beautiful. One day, this big, fat, fluffy cat came strutting down our garden path in all his glory and decided he was going to live with us.

Naturally, I've been a cat person since birth (there hasn't been a day in my life that my family hasn't owned at least one cat) I loved him instantly. He was so beautiful. Grey and so incredibly furry. Having only been young, obviously the first thing that came from my mouth when I saw him was 'Fluffy'.

Mum and dad weren't happy about having him around. For a long time they told me to ignore him, because they didn't want another cat. Well, I just couldn't do that because he was so perfect. He and I instantly clicked.

I used to let him into the house when mum and dad weren't looking and sneak him into my room. I just loved him so much. I got in so much trouble when I did that, especially since he and my other cat didn't really get along. (Fluffy is quite territorial).

Eventually, after our other cat passed away (which was horrible and devastating) I was lucky enough to finally convince my parents to let us keep him. So we fed him and allowed him in the house and looked after him as much as we could. Though, thinking back, he was always very independent, we didn't really even see him that much. It wouldn't be unusual for him to be gone for a day or two.

So, it's been fourteen years since then (and since he came to us, we're not sure how old he was at all, but we think he was around one year old when he came to us) so that makes him about fifteen years old now. He's certainly getting on, but he likes to think he's still a kitten.

Apologies of you're not a cat person, but he's my baby, and I just couldn't resist posting this. I'll leave you with a few more pictures of my beautiful boy. I hope you love him as much as I do!

So that's about it for now, let me know if you have a cat too, we can be crazy cat ladies together!

Stay peachy!
