A Little Favourite of Mine

Hi everyone!

Sorry that's it's been a while since I've posted anything. I've been pretty busy this week helping out around the house to get it in sellable condition and all those bits and pieces, so apologies if you've missed me! (But I doubt that's anyone, haha).

So anyways, today I'm finally writing about one of my very favourite beauty products. You may or may not have heard of this already, I think it's fairly new here in Australia.. It's called Hydraluron Moisture Booster by Indeed Laboratories (which, according to their website, they don't test on animals- yay!) As you have probably guessed, I'm in love with this product.

So, a bit of a rundown of what exactly this product is. Basically, it's like a skin drink. It's purpose is to hydrate the skin on a deeper level than your regular moisturisers. While you are supposed to use moisturiser with the Moisture Booster to begin with, the theory is that over time the serum will increase the skin's natural hydration levels, and you won't feel the need to moisturise as regularly.

Using this product is very easy. It's like a think, clear serum which I apply to the back of my hand (the amount I use is probably about the size of a pea - maybe a little more) I just dab a little on my finger each time and apply evenly all over my face. I actually expected it to feel more like a moisturiser, but I actually find that my skin absorbs it very quickly and within a minute or two, it's like you never put any product on. I then just apply my regular moisturiser (Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream) over the top.

I've been using the Moisture Booster for about a month now, and I'm definitely seeing results. My skin is much more smooth and elastic, and I even find putting on my regular make up everyday is much easier, I rarely use my skin primer anymore! I think this serum would be perfect for people with dry or rough skin and are looking to smooth things out a bit. Or just anyone who likes hydrated, happy skin.

I'd originally seen Louise and Zoe (Sprinkleofglitter & Zoella280390) on YouTube talk about the product, then I had a quick look at some reviews and decided to try it myself. I heard they were selling it at Priceline, so I headed in. I was actually really lucky because not only did I almost miss it (I was literally just about to leave the store when I noticed it out the front on a display table), but it was also 50% off. So even though I hadn't tried it yet, I bought two tubes because I was pretty much certain that I was going to love it. And I was right. (Don't you love that?)

So anyways, that's about it for now. I'll probably continue to update a little further down the track about how my skin is going with the Moisture Booster. (I'm sorry I didn't take any photos of myself with the serum on.. I'm not sure the world is ready for my bear-face just yet. (And yes, I'm aware it should be written as 'bare', but I've taken to calling my naked skin my 'bear-face' because it's a bit scary, haha.)

Alright, well I'll see you all next post!

Stay peachy!
